It's a phenomenal day
The sun is shining
The sky is blue with soft-shaded clouds
The ice on the lake belies the movement beneath
The calm belies the alien activity.

Why do I feel so happy to be here,
Yet heavy on the inside?
Is it because I have been given a sober Message
We must all heed?

Is it because the beauty of nature
Is usurped by the zealous intent
Of those who'd overwhelm and overthrow us?

Like you, I find it difficult
To believe the horror of the Message
As I sit in the midst of such beauty!
But I know.
Inside I know.

Change is coming. . . . . . . . .
Some change is already here.

If only we had the power to return to the 1950's
Remember the alien stories?
UFO crashes?
Roswell?
Many, many more.
If only--we'd taken Their presence seriously then.
It might have made a difference.
If only the government had been honest
If only people hadn't been threatened to keep quiet
If only a gentle professor hadn't been killed
If only we'd used human resources to investigate
If only deals hadn't been struck
If only truth hadn't been buried
If only humanity hadn't wanted to believe the lies--
Until it is too late.

Is it really too late?
Is it too late for rules of engagement?
Is it too late to set priorities?
It is too late to reveal long-held secrets?
Is it too late to declassify all UFO reports?
Is it too late to listen and believe abductees?
At least, to believe they had credible, unexplained experiences?
Is it too late to stop the cover-up
And act on Humanity's behalf?

We can only try
To save ourselves and our freedom!
